First season

The team, complete with a different Face, are hired by Amy Allen to find her colleague who has been captured by bandits in Mexico, in the PILOT adventure.

THE FINAL WORD:

A worthy and enjoyable Pilot adventure to a great TV series. Some other TV series pilots struggle to find the feel of the series, but with The A-Team, things hit the ground running.

HANNIBAL'S CIGAR RATING:

9/10

After rescuing a young woman from the clutches of an evil religious cult, the team are themselves captured, in 'CHILDREN OF JAMESTOWN'

FINAL WORD:

After the Pilot, this is a great episode to get the series going properly (although 'Pros And Cons', the first regular episode to be filmed, will always be the first one in my mind). The story is well rounded and enjoyable to watch, and a good sign of things to come.

HANNIBAL'S CIGAR RATING:

9/10

The team head behind bars to rescue an old friend of B.A.'s from the crooked warden who is arranging to-the-death boxing matches, in 'PROS AND CONS'

FINAL WORD:

An absolute classic episode. So many classic elements; an episode that any grade of A-Team fan should make it top priority to see if they haven’t seen it already, and showcases the characters at their best.

HANNIBAL'S CIGAR RATING:

10/10

A Detective hires the team to take out a four man SWAT team who are using their Police work as a cover for working as hitmen-for-hire, in 'A SMALL AND DEADLY WAR'

FINAL WORD:

A favourite with some, I like this one, although I wouldn't say that it is necessarily one of my favourites of season one (but much of that is due to most of the other episodes of the season being of such a high quality) - I never felt that the whole "Police officers working as hit men" concept was used to it's full potential. Even so, this is still a decent story.

HANNIBAL'S CIGAR RATING:

8.5/10

Second season

The A-Team head west when a native Red Indian hires them to protect wild Mustang horses from a ruthless millionaire, in "WHEN YOU COMIN' BACK, RANGE RIDER?"

FINAL WORD:

A very enjoyable feature-length (or two-part) adventure, that may very well be the series' best feature-length outing. Much of the concept of the series came from classic cowboy movies; and when the team get to play cowboys for themselves, they do it very well!

Hannibal's Cigar Rating:

9/10

Third season

The A-Team leap to defend their name when they hear that a B-team of impostors are impersonating them, in the third season's 'SHOWDOWN'

THE FINAL WORD:

One of the series’ most memorable episodes, certainly one of the most memorable of the third season, which had some very generic stories elsewhere. As enjoyable as it is, though one can’t help think that maybe the whole “impostor A-Team” theme maybe isn’t used to it’s full potential. Also, the whole reasons behind the trouble is one of the silliest and flimsiest in the series’ run. But all in all, when those small details are put behind, this stands a likeable, memorable episode.

Hannibal's Cigar Rating:

9/10
